Aetna Resources, LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Burlington, MA: Senior Software Development Engineer to partner with Aetnas cross functional and cross organization teams and be responsible for development using modern frameworks including SAFe Software Development methodologies. Work with Product teams across the organization and break down Product features into technical requirements. Assist in technical system design to create highly scalable cloud-based implementation of services. Work in an Agile Scrum Team environment. Contribute to the software engineering activities throughout every phase of the SDLC, including design, development, and testing. Design and develop REST APIs as a microservice in JAVA and JavaScript deployed on an AWS environment using Spring Boot, Node.js and Express. Write ETL (Extract / Transform / Load) processes using JAVA and using various AWS resources like SNS, Lambda. Design and develop database systems for SQL and NoSQL databases in an AWS environment. Work on authorship of code and perform code reviews. Ensure high code quality exists and the code is modular and highly maintainable and reusable. Write codes to deliver against project timelines, quality, and requirements in JAVA and JavaScript. Work using Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment frameworks. Conduct Unit and Integration testing in JAVA and JavaScript to ensure high code quality.
Required Qualifications
2 years experience as Software Engineer or closely related occupation. Minimum 2 years of software engineering experience. Must have experience understanding business needs and requirements to develop frameworks for all layers of development. requires experience working with: java, JavaScript, spring boot, spring data JPA, node.js and express; AWS technologies including SNS, SES, lambda, S3; NoSQL databases including AWS DynamoDB; and SQL databases like PostgreSQL. Must also have experience working with agile safe environment; Jenkins pipeline continuous deployments; and sumologic.
