Job Description
HID Global Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Milpitas, California office.
Job Duties: Responsible for architecting, designing, and developing new product features, components, workflows, proof of concept prototypes, interfaces, and agents to third-party systems using their SDK/APIs. Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle which includes analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment. Participate in the scaled agile software development process performing tasks including coding and testing modules, maintaining, tuning applications, and related components. Participate in troubleshooting, task identification, work effort estimates, and work schedules for development and maintenance activities. Ensure that all tasks are performed in accordance with specific internal procedures and standards, as well as industry best practices. Ensure and demonstrate code quality through comprehensive and effective unit testing coverage. Telecommuting is permitted.
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience Requirements: Three (3) years of experience in each of the following:
- Building COTS products for highly regulated industry
- Working with MS SQL Server relational databases
- Utilizing C#.NET programming languages
- Utilizing HTML, XML, JSON, or Node JS web technologies
- Creating web applications using Angular, ASP.NET, MVC frameworks, Typescript, or Javascript
- Developing message queue (RabbitMQ, MSMQ) applications
- Translating requirements into software designs for deployment and integration
- Developing software that meets regulatory compliance standards and adapts to their evolving requirements
- Developing interface with Access Control Systems and external peripherals including fingerprint scanners, printers, and cameras
2 years of experience in a Scaled Agile environment.
