Job Description

Remote Position - can be located anywhere in the US

The Global Enablement team is looking for a Senior Technical Trainer. This role provides a highly motivated individual with the opportunity to deliver technical training for Palo Alto Networks products to our professional services engineers and partner organizations. The ideal candidate for this role will have advanced knowledge of routing/switching in an enterprise environment as well as SaaS and Cloud Security landscape.

An eye for detail, captivating delivery-style and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge will round out the ideal candidate for this position. The fast-pace, multiple deadlines and fluid demands make for a challenging and fulfilling work environment.

Your Impact

  • Coordinating and delivering training worldwide for internal and external audiences
  • Participating in Instructor Certification Workshops and Train the Trainer sessions
  • Ensuring the readiness of all course materials and equipment prior to delivery
  • Contributing to the maintenance of high-quality technical courseware and lab exercises for Palo Alto Networks family of next-generation firewalls and Cloud-based solutions

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in delivery of courseware and related business experience in the networking security industry.
    5+ years experience with products used to secure data in transit in the public cloud, such as firewalls and VPN tunnels
    Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
    Ability to travel up to 75% a month worldwide (post COVID era)
    Possess or can obtain a passport and drivers license
    (Desired) U.S. Government security clearance or willingness and ability to obtain one.
    Network security background
    Preferred experience with SOC Operations and security analytics
    Knowledge of adult learning principles
    Strong organization skills, work ethic, and team player
    BS required/ MS preferred in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related disciplines
