Collaboration is key in this SEO Manager position! We are looking for an analytical and perceptive professional who is a skilled communicator and can collaborate with various teams. What you will do:
Manage a team of SEO specialists in all aspects of managerial responsibility, coaching, development, performance feedback, and monitoring and assigning work.
Coordinate with internal cross-functional project teams to create strategic marketing plans for organic web marketing.
Develop and execute comprehensive search engine optimization strategies to achieve business objectives.
Conduct SEO and content audits, keyword research, competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for improvement and stay ahead of competitors in search rankings.
Collaborate with content creators and digital marketing teams to develop and optimize high-quality, keyword-rich content for improved organic visibility.
Identify technical SEO issues and collaborate with the web development team to implement solutions for improved website performance and user experience.
Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimization.
Oversee and help support the testing program led by the senior SEO specialist to increase conversion rates and drive leads.
Understand and direct link-building activities to ensure quality links from reputable sources with 3rd party vendors.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as content, design, and development, to ensure optimal content performance.
What you will have:
Proven experience and success as SEO Manager or similar role, with 5+ years managing SEO projects for various websites, including enterprise-level companies.
Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g., Conductor, GSC, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, MOZ Local) and web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational, time-management, and leadership skills
Experience with working on websites in one or more of the following areas: content design, copywriting, content management/production, or imaging editing, to name a few.
Professional experience with Drupal, WordPress, or similar HTML CMS (Content Management System) backends.
Knowledge and experience with A/B Testing, Personalization, SEO testing, and experimentation.
A bachelors degree in marketing or a related field required from a regionally accredited institution is preferred, and if not, add two more years of work experience as minimum requirements.
Minimum of three years of professional experience within a digital agency, marketing department, or other corporate environment
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background investigation.
