Major Responsibilities/Abilities:
- Acknowledges and responds to customers promptly.
- Delivers food and beverages to guests table.
- May be required to provide buffet style service.
- Monitors food quality, reporting variances to the banquet captain.
- Returns to each assigned table regularly to determine the customers additional needs.
- Ensures that banquet facilities are orderly and clean.
- Provides fast, friendly service to customers.
Minimum Requirements:
- Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal members.
- Ability to carry and balance service tray on shoulder.
- New Mexico liquor servers license and a Food Handlers Card.
- Legible handwriting is a must.
- Prior food service experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of banquet items and proper placement procedures.
- Professional appearance.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Bi-lingual and multi-cultural experience preferred.
- A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required. If a smartphone is not provided by the company, a candidate or employee may be provided a smartphone of the companys choice, through a payroll deduction program.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission non-key license.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills. A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required. If a smartphone is not provided by the company, a candidate or employee may be provided a smartphone of the companys choice, through a payroll deduction program.
