Provides professional, friendly and exceptional service to banquet guests within a high volume, fast paced Indian gaming environment.

Major Responsibilities/Abilities:

  • Acknowledges and responds to customers promptly.
  • Delivers food and beverages to guests table.
  • May be required to provide buffet style service.
  • Monitors food quality, reporting variances to the banquet captain.
  • Returns to each assigned table regularly to determine the customers additional needs.
  • Ensures that banquet facilities are orderly and clean.
  • Provides fast, friendly service to customers.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal members.
  • Ability to carry and balance service tray on shoulder.
  • New Mexico liquor servers license and a Food Handlers Card.
  • Legible handwriting is a must.
  • Prior food service experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of banquet items and proper placement procedures.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Bi-lingual and multi-cultural experience preferred.
  • A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required. If a smartphone is not provided by the company, a candidate or employee may be provided a smartphone of the companys choice, through a payroll deduction program.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission non-key license.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills. A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required. If a smartphone is not provided by the company, a candidate or employee may be provided a smartphone of the companys choice, through a payroll deduction program.
  • All employees are required to proficiently use a smartphone for company applications, email, and text
