Albuquerque Job Corps is a Career Development Services System. We are currently seeking a The SGA Leadership Coordinator is responsible for leadership programs for both dormitories and the centers Student Government Association (SGA).

Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Conducts leadership classes for all new students and students in leadership positions in accordance with DOL guidelines.
Oversees the proper operation of the centers SGA in accordance with DOL, corporate, and center requirements.
Oversees the dormitory leadership programs.
Ensures all SGA meetings are held as scheduled and serves as the advisor.
Ensures dormitory and SGA executive board elections are held every six months.
Oversees operation of the Student Benefit Fund and Student Store.
Monitors SGA budget and inventory and submits material requests and check requests as needed.
Ensures accurate recordkeeping and documentation of SGA activities, meetings, expenditures, and of leadership class participation and completion.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists other staff with leadership programs.
Promotes positive student behavior on the center.
Assists in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for program components.
Participates in Career Mentoring Team.
Provide support to the Career Development Services System (CDSS) department to ensure student job readiness.
All other duties as assigned.



Required Education and Experience:
Associates Degree with at least 1 years experience.
Experience working with youth.
Valid state drivers license.
CPR certification.

Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree
Sales/marketing experience.
Classroom experience.
