What Success Looks Like In This Job
The Adams County Sheriff's Office is creating a Temporary Pool of candidates to assist all Divisions with short term staffing needs as required.
Temporary assignments may involve clerical, administrative, technical and general maintenance supporting the Records Section, Human Resources, Information Technology, the Detention Facility, the Shooting Range and other sections.
Temporary assignments are on an on-call, as needed basis to cover vacancies, illnesses, vacations, training, etc. Temporary assignments may also involve short term special project work.
Qualifications for SuccessTo be considered for the Temporary Pool, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age;
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Good organization skills;
- Prior customer service and/or administrative experience highly desirable;
- Proficiency with computers highly desirable.
Components of Selection Process:
-Typing Test
-Oral Board Interview
-Thorough Background including Integrity Interview and CVSA exam
