Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- The Driver must always maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
- Responsible for picking up and delivering guests to authorized locations at designated time frames.
- Responsible for a Pre-trip and Post-trip inspection of vehicle on a daily basis. Any damages or discrepancies found must be reported immediately on your DVIR.
- Must follow all prescribed department policies and safety standards, as well as any Department of Transportation rules and regulations.
- Responsible for the safety of passengers by ensuring they are seated with seat belts fastened before vehicle is in motion.
- Driver will assist any elderly or handicapped person on entering and exiting the vehicle.
- Driver will be trained and well versed on how to operate the shuttle with an ADA lift.
- Responsible for vehicle cleanliness and appearance while on duty.
- Upon leaving the vehicle, driver will ensure it is turned off and not left running while unattended.
- Any items left in vehicle by guests must be turned into Security/Lost and Found and logged.
- The driver must be able to respond and communicate with the Dispatcher on duty via cell phone or radio. The vehicle cannot leave the property without proper authorization.
- The driver is responsible for making sure that the vehicle is locked and secured at the end of their shift.
- Driver ensures the safety and security of all guests and team members.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal Members.
- CDL Class B Required.
- Must have a valid Commercial drivers license with Passenger Endorsement and provide a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Must have a current DOT Medical Card.
- Promote outstanding guest and employee relations in accordance Santa Ana Star Casino Policies.
- Must always maintain a professional image for customers.
- Maintain a good working relationship with co-workers.
- Must provide a positive attitude towards the Manger/Supervisor and the Company.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required.
- Must be able to obtain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming Regulatory Commission non-gaming license.
