One of our clients is seeking a Social Worker - Foster Care in the Landover, MD
Must be licensed as LMSW
HOURS
*Full-Time or Part-time Schedules available*
*Immediate Start*

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
*Provide individual and family therapeutic intervention to clients and families consistent with Afrocentric approach to intervention.
* Provide case management, and maintain confidential, comprehensive clinical case files for each assigned client.
*Provide relevant crisis intervention and advocacy services.
*Conduct intakes and matching of new referrals.
*Conduct psychosocial assessments and home studies.
*Assist clients in identification and coordination of utilization of appropriate community resources.
*Participate in clinical training, clinical supervision, and other educational activities as scheduled.
*Coordinate and implement assigned intra-office projects.
*Maintain up-to-date and confidential documentation of clientsf contract and case progress.
*Participate in at least one multi-family and Rites of Passage retreat per year.
*Enter and maintain accurate data into the database system.
*Provide 24 hour 7 days a week coverage via mobile cellular device.
*Other duties as assigned.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university.
*MD Licensed Master Social Worker or Licensed Graduate Social Worker.
*Two (2) years child welfare experience.
*Proficiency in oral and written communication.
*Bilingual in English/Spanish is desirable.
*Skills in formulating diagnostic statements, treatment plans, and permanency plans.
*Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Owner of reliable vehicle.
*Certificate in NTU Service Delivery Model within one (1) year of hire.
