For our Client in Chicago, we are seeking a Social Worker to work within a school setting.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Develop intervention strategies to increase academic success
* Provide individual, group and/or family counseling as well as crisis intervention
* Assist in developing positive behavioral intervention strategies
* Obtain and coordinate community resources to meet students specific needs
* Collaborate and consult with other staff and provide training when needed
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Social Work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)
* Master's Degree (preferred)
* State licensure and certifications
* PEL certification with a Social Worker endorsement
