Job Description

The Software engineer is responsible for multi-platform software/database design, programming, and support to the organization.

Goals and Objectives:

  • Analysis & Design, Programming, Software Review, and Testing for All Enterprise Applications
  • Work collaboratively with Helpdesk Administrators to resolve level 3 & 4 technical issues
  • Build out and test all new releases for the Electronic Health Record
  • Analysis of internal procedures for the design, programming, use, and improvement of the information and business data systems.
  • Manage, maintain and modify system environment patches and updates monthly
  • Enforces and evolves software development standards and best practices

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
  • Develop high quality code adhering to engineering best practices
  • Design and produce customer programming for organizational software platforms
  • Design and produce custom reports and analysis materials as needed
  • Review, monitor and educate staff regarding internal data processes
  • Work on escalated helpdesk items
  • Participate in data system development, deployment and monitoring with IT partners
  • Participate in team meetings, events, and center-wide functions
  • Follow all AllHealth Network policies and procedures
  • Complete all required trainings as listed in Relias Learning (both online training and face-to-face training) within required timelines
  • Perform other duties as required within the scope of the position and the experience, education and ability of the employee.

Key Technical Skills and Knowledge:

  • 3-5 years of experience in software development using JavaScript, CSS, HTML, .NET, C#, Python and T-SQL
  • Experience with Jira is a plus
  • Experience in healthcare or with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) is a plus
  • Proven delivery of web applications modules
  • Understanding of web application performance, security, and accessibility considerations
  • Familiar with continuous integration and deployment incorporating automated testing
  • An eye for detail and a desire for quality and accuracy
  • One of the following; Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Computer Information Technology with a minimum of 4 years experience, or a minimum of 7 years direct software engineering experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

Salary: $70,000 - $87,000

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the AllHealth Network salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, and the ability to embody the AllHealth Network mission and values. The range listed is just one component of AllHealth Networks total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives as well as a generous benefits package detailed below.
