Our Client is seeking a full-time Special Education Instructional Assistant to aid children with autism and intellectual or developmental disabilities in the Queen Creek area. The Assistant will work with support staff and behavioral coaches to provide academic, emotional, and behavioral support and redirection to students.
HOURS
* School hours: Monday-Friday
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* A passion for serving special needs and developmentally challenged children; and the ability to have patience and understanding
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
* Minimum of 6 months' experience working with children in a professional setting
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, peers, parents and staff members.
* Ability to work without direct supervision
