One of our clients is seeking Teacher's Assistants and Paraprofessionals in the greater Seymour area. We have multiple opportunities for this school year!
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF TEACHER'S ASSISTANT OPPORTUNITY
* Assist classroom teacher with lesson delivery, classroom management, and material development
* Track student progress throughout the day, sometimes with the use of charts or graphics
* Empower students with strategies that enhance their strengths
* Help teacher facilitate technology in the classroom when necessary
* Provide an encouraging and supportive presence to students
* Monitor the classroom to minimize distractions and disruptions
* Working with toddler and preschool children on social skills and day to day skills
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum of a High School Diploma
* Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse Clearance and State Criminal Background
* Must be able to produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test,
* Current CPR, and First Aid or ability to obtain quickly
