Our client is seeking a Special Education Teacher's Assistantin Asbury Park, NJ.
AVAILABLE HOURS
* Monday - Friday (8:00am-3:00pm)
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
The Special Education Teachers Aide will work closely with an assigned Teacher providing assistance with daily classroom activities. Activities can include assisting students with classwork, providing guidance with student projects, and maintaining the order of the classroom.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER'S ASSISTANT
* Minimum of 48 college credits
* Experience working with children within an education environment
* Experience assisting special education students or those with ABA needs (preferred)
* Working knowledge of school-based administrative codes, rules and regulations
* Ability to complete and satisfactorily pass given mandated background checks including NJDOE and Pass the Trash Fingerprints
* Ability and to succeed in a high-pressure, demographically diverse school setiing
* Current TB testing results
