Special Event - Fabricators & Staffing

We are seeking a unique group of Professionals for Seasonal Work in the Special Event Industry: Carpenters, Welders, Artists, Foam Carvers, Graphic Installers and Set Installation and Strike Crew. Much of this work is done within a high pressure and fast-pace environment. An unconditional focus and high energy level will be required along with the ability to prioritize multiple requests at once. The successful candidate will help maintain a functional and safe facility, performing repairs, improvements, and organizational tasks.

Your skills and experience include:

• Be a good listener and follow direction
• Work as part of a team
• Be willing to use hand and power tools (with instruction)
• Have the ability to stand and work in a physically demanding environment for 8 hours a day
• Must be able to perform physical activities required of this position which includes, but is not limited to, climbing, lifting, balancing stooping, and handling of materials.
• Must be able to perform job at various locations interior and outside work environment with varying weather conditions.
• Must possess disciplined workflow practices with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Tremendous reliability & commitment to quality work and performance.
• Ability to stay calm, work hard, and be dedicated to finding solutions even under the tightest of deadlines and most stressful situations.

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Set building
• Carpentry
• Painting
• Acrylic Fabrication
• Vinyl Application
• Lighting installation
• Metal Working
• Set Installation & Strike

All team members are hired and scheduled on a project-to-project basis, as needed. All positions are on-call unless otherwise stated. Team members are paid hourly and rates are dependent upon experience.
