Production Technician special projects in Phoenix, AZ

Leadpoint Business Services has an opportunity for a Production Technician position for special projects job available in Phoenix, AZ. This is a 3-6 months project. The Special Project Technician performs repairs and maintenance on operating equipment to maximize safe and productive operations. Repairs may include, but are not limited to, routine maintenance and repair of production equipment, transportation equipment and other categories as needed.

Benefits of the Maintenance Technician Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am to 3:30pm (Hours may vary) Project Based position with Career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities of the Production Technician Special Projects
The Special Projects Technician may be asked to complete a wide range of tasks and work with a variety of software systems and shop tools including, but not limited to:
Woodworking
Metal working
Mechanical assembly
Electrical - high and low voltage wiring
Painting?Table, Band and Chop Saws
Welding-MiG
Soldering
Drill Press
Lathe
Additional support equipment?including Box trailer, scissor lift?and forklift

Requirements of the Production Technician Special Projects
General automotive maintenance (batteries, detailing)
Material handling may include wood, metal, plastics, acrylic, vinyl wrap, foam, and carpet
Computer applications to run equipment such as a table router,?Versalaser?and Vinyl Cutter including Corel Draw, Vison Software and CNC software
Office administration programs including Microsoft and Google applications, Jira, Zoom, Slack and Expensify
Good motor skills and the ability to do fine assembly
Ability to check for defects and identify and distinguish between colors
Experience in a start-up or pilot production environment
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to read and carefully follow instructions
Excellent attention to detail and good organization
Capable of working independently to a production schedule
Physical demands and abilities
Frequently lift to 25 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time
Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights
Ability?to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
