CVS Health has an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as an Advisor, on the Systems Strategy and Operations Planning team!

The Specialty Systems Advisor - Pharmacy Operations will provide oversight for a portfolio of projects and initiatives for the PBM Operations Technology - Specialty Pharmacy team. The Advisor is responsible for driving the ongoing development of their applications and ensuring all business requirements for each development project support the needs of the business and conforms to established methodologies.

You will work closely with department leadership to set the development tempo and prioritize projects within their portfolio, as well as delivering the required financial returns for each project. These tasks will require skilled process improvement analysis in contact management systems design and theory, and the ability to create or maintain an expansive network of business partners from across the CVS Caremark enterprise and PBM Operations leadership. You will interface heavily with IT development partners and senior leaders, and represent our internal customers to the broader organization.

The successful candidate will:

* Demonstrate the ability to be a change agent and build relationships across boundaries; demonstrate strong problem analysis skills and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement within defined processes and systems.
* Be self-motivated, able to work independently, and possess a strong technical aptitude. Although the role does not have direct reports, a successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to lead informally and cross-functionally.
* Possess a strong working knowledge of office software. And, as this role interfaces routinely with senior leaders, strong communication and presentation skills are necessary.

Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications
* 8+ years of related work experience.
* Previous experience in Pharmacy operations
* Working knowledge of Specialty Pharmacy applications or a background in contact centers, project management, IT system solutions, or other business operations will be considered.
* Familiarity and demonstrable application of the software development life cycle, or related methodologies.
* Ability to balance business needs against technical considerations.
* Ability to evaluate, forecast, and achieve financial targets exhibited by past project portfolios.
* Pharmacy Technician license or Certification is preferred

Education
* Bachelors Degree is required
* BA/BS degree in a business, finance, or IT/IS field is preferred
* MA/MS degree is preferred
