A front-line leadership position responsible for the day to day oversight of specimen management operations andassociates on assigned shift. Responsible for collection and processing of blood samples and other specimens as defined bysite. Provides a high level of customer service for lab inquiries, test requirements, and other laboratory information.Consistently functions in a self-directed manner and exhibits excellent communication and complex problem-solving skills.Serves as a liaison with other laboratory departments and hospital services.

What You Bring/Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • One year of phlebotomy work experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification, such as PBT(ASCP) or equivalent certification required within 6 months of hire

Schedule- This position is mainly on evenings with overlap onto nights.

Light work - (Exert up to 20lbs force occasionally, and/or up to10lbs frequently)
