Job Description
SUMMARY
Designs, develops and evaluates Speech and Language therapy services for an Individual Education Plan (IEP)
to meet the specific needs of students who qualify for speech and language therapy services.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
A Master's or more advanced degree, from an accredited institution, in speech pathology or communication
disorders.
Current Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech/Language Hearing Association
Must hold current Arizona Department of Health Services (DHS) Speech-Language Pathology License
Arizona Department of Education Speech-Language Pathology Certificate
Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

Effective: 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR
LOCATION: Exceptional Education Department - District Wide - Sites May Vary
FTE : 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language. For more information on salary schedule, please reference the Employee Agreements Webpage.
Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
