As part of our mission to bring out the best in our children, Kaleidoscope Education Solutions is seeking that one special person to take on a full-time Speech Language Pathologist caseload to provide speech services in a school setting.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Conduct intake assessments
* Maintain accurate and organized client notes, data and reports
* Design and provide direct treatment to clients in 1:1 or group contexts
* Exercise judgment on best assessment tools to utilize in treatment planning for clients and develop well-rounded treatment programs
* Collaborate with team of behavior technicians and BCBAs to exchange, discuss and evaluate information for planning, modifying and coordinating treatment program
* Instruct family member(s) and members of the team in methods of assisting the client in improving communication skills
* Re-evaluate clients progress and the established treatment program as often as necessary
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
* Minimum of one (1) year as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in an urban public or charter school setting
* Professional Educators License (PEL) endorsement (Type 73)
* State of IL SLP License
