POSITION SUMMARY:
- Under the supervision of the VP of Professional Services, the Speech/Language Pathologist delivers Speech Therapy to the patient in both hospital and out-patient settings.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/License/Certification:
- Must have a Masters degree in Speech/Language Pathology or equivalent from a college program satisfying the American Speech-Language-hearing Associations (ASHAs) academic requirements and practicum.
- Current License for practicing Speech/Language Pathology in the State of California is required.
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech/Language Pathology required.
- Must have and maintain current BLS Certification.
Experience/Skills:
- Experience in Acute Care Setting preferred.
- Experience in outpatient and in-patient setting required.
- Experience treating all patients including, geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and newborn required.
