Position Summary |
The College of Nursing at the UNM Health Sciences Center is a complex organization with a multitude of programs and initiatives across all levels. The ideal candidate for Sr. Academic Advisor will embody the Colleges core values which include academic excellence, diversity & inclusion, innovation, integrity, and respect. The Sr. Academic Advisor will work with a highly energetic and student-oriented advisement team, you will be providing academic advisement to prospective, current, former, undergraduate, and graduate students within the College of Nursing. This is a fast-paced environment where employees strive to give excellent professional consultation/advice within demanding time constraints for multiple programs. Minimum Qualifications |
Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
Preferred Qualifications |
Experience in/with: (this should be evidenced on your resume)
Proficiency in programs related to advisory duties: Banner, Lobo Achieve, Access, Excel, Word, etc. Knowledge of outreach, recruitment, orientation, and retention program implementation. |
