Position Summary | The Academic Advisor, Sr. position in the College of Education and Human Sciences Center for Student Success will work in a team environment to deliver academic advisement for prospective and current students. The primary responsibilities of this position include: Providing direct academic advisement to students including the review of transcripts, review of Programs of Study, completion of graduation checks, and general academic support and advice; Completing administrative components for academic advising including the documentation of appointments and related notes, preparation of student files, investigative work to address issues, and addressing inquiries via email and phone; Planning, implementing, coordinating, and participating in special projects, events, New Student Orientations, and other recruitment and retention activities. Minimum Qualifications |
Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
