Job Description
The Product Manager is responsible for developing the digital program vision/strategy and ensuring they are aligned with end-user and stakeholder goals. This is an instrumental role in the oversight and execution of digital programs supporting several programs that generate mulit-million dollar business value to the organization and touch millions of consumers. Accountable for identifying customer needs, prioritizing program features, and guiding the general flow of work through the program. In order to perform the role, they are expected collaborate very closely with other Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, and Product Owners in a scaled agile environment

Responsibilities:
- Agile Release Trains Vision, Strategy, and Roadmap Ownership and Development
- Makes decisions, in partnership with senior business leaders, on digital investments and priorities
- Develops business cases, makes recommendations and defines what success will look like for Epics that are critical to driving value for CVS Health strategic priorities.
- Sets and owns vision and roadmaps for their team as well as provides subject matter expertise and guidance on the product strategy to scrum teams and leaders
- Responsible for translating customer and business needs into short term and long-term product direction (outcome roadmap)
- Assures product strategy is followed from internal pilots to external launch

Program Backlog Ownership/Prioritization:
- Prioritizes and aligns the efforts of agile product teams and epics/features associated with programs - managing the flow of work through the program and into the program backlog.
- Owns the program backlog, pricing, licensing, and ROI
- Identifies dependencies among the teams
- Works with RTEs, when roadblocks occur, to problem solve and develop mitigation plans
- Escalates risks and issues to program backlog to stakeholder along with providing recommendations on tradeoffs and solutions
- Establishes feature acceptance criteria

Trend Monitoring and Customer Value Assessment:
- Responsible for researching, interpreting and communication the internal voice of the customer to the teams on the train. Keeps apprised of customer needs through interaction with the customer and business stakeholders by conducting interviews, surveys, brainstorming sessions, trade studies, and market research
- Performs industry research, as necessary, to keep senior stakeholder and teams apprised of the competitive landscape as well as support feature development.

Releases and Program Increments:
- Defines, sets and drives program increment priorities
- Responsible for release definition as well as works with release management
- Lead biweekly System Demos
- Sets goals in the assessment of Metrics, including evaluation of business value achieved versus plan

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years work experience in product management/ownership
- Proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a dynamic and complex healthcare environment
- Understands pharmacy and HCP operations

Preferred Qualifications
- Has lead digital product adoption efforts
- Health care industry experience and specialty conditions experience a plus (Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, HIV, Transplant operations, HCV, Oncology, etc.)
- Physician workflows in a hospital/clinic setting
- Strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and project management counterparts to deliver products/services

Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, economics, or similar quantitative fields required
- Master's degree preferred
