Do you have a passion for financial analysis, analytics and problem solving? At CVS Health, you can put your skills and interests to work by joining our Client P&L Strategic Implementation team. The individual who joins our team will help support the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) business as part of our broader Client Financial Analysis and Proposals department. This position is an individual contributor role that focuses on financial variance analysis, identifying client specific risks, improvement opportunities, and strategic solutions. Monitoring client performance will span across multiple channels (rebates, network, specialty) and business areas for collaborative efforts in strategic implementation. Additional project work to include audit support and contract review.

-Be responsible for conducting financial variance analysis and identifying issues in order to drive towards margin enhancing solutions
-Work with pharmacy claim data to understand root causes of specific client issues
-Access and manipulate large datasets using Excel, SQL(SAS/Teradata) and similar tools
-Support complex projects related to a wide variety of financial and operational business needs
-Assist in coordinated efforts across company teams that can include Clinical Ops, IT/TI, Product Development, Finance FP&A, Trade and account management to identify issues, opportunities, and implementation of solutions

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 43,700
Maximum: 97,400

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years professional experience in analytics, finance, pricing or process improvement role or equivalent combination of professional experience and education (Bachelors Degree)
OR
- 2+ years professional experience in analytics, finance, pricing or process improvement role including 1+ year working with PBM data or PBM financial analysis

Preferred Qualifications
-Experience in Microsoft Excel-based modeling
-Ability to interact with others in a collaborative and professional manner while fostering teamwork and knowledge sharing to complete key tasks
-Prior experience or knowledge of PBM industry or pharmaceuticals is preferred
-Experience extracting, manipulating, and analyzing large data sets and then using it to draw conclusions
-Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to various business groups
-Aptitude to communicate complex findings and conclusions in an easy to understand way
-Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and follow up skills
-Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, manage tight deadlines, and competing priorities

Education
Bachelors degree required;
-Degree related to finance, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics or other finance related fields preferred
