Design, develop, implement, and maintain network infrastructure,
Determine network bandwidth needs, recommend measures to meet those requirements and Conduct network modeling and analysis to construct a reliable, high-performance integrated network
Select and install appropriate data communications components configured to meet the companys needs
Program routers, switches, and other network hardware, and configure DNS servers
Maintain relations with the firewall team and manage security related support objectives and collaborate with network architects to optimize system performance
Define, document, and enforce system standards. Design, recommend and implement new solutions to improve the resilience of network operations
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problems and outages
Schedule updates, upgrades and engage in data network fault investigations
Secure network systems with policies that define and monitor access
Report network operation status based on project management and priority information
Required Qualifications
5+ years experience working with network switches, routers and related components such as VPN, and DNS/DHCP.
- 2+ years of experience in Cisco network hardware like Cisco catalyst 6500, 4500, Nexus 7K, ISR Routers (4000 Series), ASR routers (1000 series), Wireless LAN Controllers (5500 series).
-2+ years of experience implementing layer 2/3 connectivity - experience in setting up access lists, prefix lists, and route-maps. Layer 2 includes implementation and troubleshooting protocols such as spanning-tree, port security, HSRP, LACP, LAG, etc. Layer 3 includes implementation and troubleshooting of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and static routing.
F5 Load Balancer experience required (VIP, LTM, GTM).
2+ years working with automation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the healthcare industry
Experience with cloud i.e Google, Azure, AWS or Equinix
- Additional certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP
Education
H.S diploma with years experience- required
Bachelors degree in network administration, information technology, or computer science - preferred
