Senior Business Analyst (Data Solutions) - MORSCO

WHAT YOULL DO:

• Manage the demand intake for Morsco BI applications. Gather, document and clarify requirements. Partner with Product Design to deliver appealing user interfaces. Partner with architecture to ensure delivered products are relevant, accurate and timely.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the intake process for new requests as well as maintenance of existing products

• Gather requirements from both internal and external subject matter experts

• Assist in problem and issue resolution with project and report progress on initiatives

• Create project related documents including system requirements; requirement traceability matrix and work with QA team in documenting System test scripts.

• Participate in small team design sessions, contributing to the overall design

• Organize, participate, and conduct application walk-throughs, and other internal presentations

• Identify & Contribute to process improvement activities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal staff

• Provide Tier 3 User Support for operational reporting systems/applications

• Assist and analyze operational reports used by management

• Monitor, gather and distribute reporting platform performance statistics

• Act as final QA prior to release of new visualizations or data products, including but not limited to accuracy and usability

• Partner with Product Design to develop appealing user interfaces

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Experience in data focused development and design

• Experience in analytics and analytical product development
