The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is a unifiedcollective of many excellent programs that include the Center for AcademicProgram Support (CAPS), Graduate Resource Center (GRC), Center for Teaching Excellence(CTE), Center for Digital Learning (CDL), and Writing Across the Curriculum(WAC). What unites CTL is our commitment to helping all UNM students - bothundergraduate and graduate students - achieve success through both studentsupport and support for instructors. On average, CTL employs a total of 150students and serves over 6,000 individual students each year for more than43,000 contact hours. CTL is an extremely fast-paced job environment with manylocations, student employees, and student users to oversee. Duties andResponsibilities:

  • Functions as fiscal advisor/planner for Graduate Resource Center, Center for Digital Learning, Center for Teaching Excellence, and Center for Academic Program Support within the Center for Teaching & Learning
  • Oversees and coordinates the fiscal activity of the department and various programs within the department
  • Prepares, disseminates and interprets financial reports for CTL
  • Prepares and maintains all personnel records of CTL staff (30 full-time) and student employees (120-160)
  • Oversees student employment hiring paperwork
  • Liaisons between CTL and the larger campus community on fiscal, administrative, and operational issues
  • Supervises Unit Admin and Technical Analyst in performance of programmatic and administrative activities
  • Manages daily administrative operations of 5 different CAPS programs and 4 centers under CTL
  • Prepares and maintains equipment inventory, unit records, payroll records for staff and students of CTL
  • Coordinates ordering of supplies, textbooks, copy requests and lobomart purchases

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
