As an analytics specialist in our Client Financial Analysis and Proposals department, you will analyze claims data for current and prospective clients to assist in the underwriting process. You will be responsible for data analysis, validation, and overall data integrity. Our Analytics Specialists are charged with the task of analyzing large data sets and actionable insights to the rest of the department.
You will be critical to how CVS Health is expanding in the healthcare and pharmacy benefits management (PBM) industry. Our Analytics Specialists work in concert with our Strategic Proposals Management and Underwriting teams to provide our healthcare clients with enhanced pricing options and analytical insights to make more informed business decisions and meet the needs of the rapidly changing healthcare marketplace.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional work experience analyzing, interpreting, and summarizing large data
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional work experience analyzing, interpreting, and summarizing large data sets
-Knowledge of health insurance, managed care, or prescription drug industry
- Advanced knowledge of data modeling and statistical analysis
- Proficiency in SAS
- Familiarity with healthcare claims data
Education
Bachelors degree in mathematics, finance, statistics, actuarial science or other data related fields or equivalent experience
