Job Description
As Sr Director, Analytics, Data Strategy & Reporting for our HCB business, you will be responsible for developing, institutionalizing and delivering the analytics and data strategy, policies, processes and toolsets that will enable automated and self-serve reporting and the full realization of data as a strategic asset in order to drive business value, insights, and growth across Healthcare Benefits.
You will drive consensus and alignment, streamline data systems and data structures needed to enhance data-driven value creation via advanced capabilities like data sciences and predictive analytics and play a leading role in the formulation, external/internal insights integration, development, communications and execution of HCBs data strategy. You will oversee the appropriate design and will be the product owner for core, scalable solutions, platforms and processes in partnership with the Data Engineering and Technology data leaders, such as data sourcing and data integration solutions and migration of key business priorities to cloud technology for data storage and real-time access that will add value in the short term through existing use cases but also open the doors for new use cases leveraging the expanded capabilities and the breadth of the wider CVS Health data ecosystem. You will work with cross-functional data leaders and their team to inform, align and integrate the cross-functional data platforms/process/reporting capabilities broadly to ensure superior experience, functional excellence and efficiencies and you will define an analytic strategy that helps scale analytic capability and provides relevant insights to drive macro-level business decisions and innovation. You will enable the execution of priority analytics use cases, define roadmaps, tracks, and prioritize work including master data management, data quality, and metadata management. You will provide input into reporting strategy, features, suite of reports and be the link between business and report development. Other duties will include maintaining close relationships and fostering an open dialogue with all Business Units to understand objectives and data challenges, and identify opportunities
The Sr Director Analytics, Data Strategy & Reporting is an analytically minded strategist who will foster a data-driven culture, a great communicator and a champion for user and customer experience.

Required Qualifications
* 10+ years experience in Data Analytics
* Management experience supervising Analytics-related professional staff
* Experience and expert knowledge of healthcare industry and payer data
* Proven ability to develop and implement new processes, translating business objectives and concepts into roadmap and execution, experience with strategic planning, process improvement or data analytics solutions
* Excellent ability to establish and maintain collaborat5ive relationships with analytic and non-analytic business partners, including executive leadership, in order to elicit business needs and formulate, propose and refine analytic solutions in order to meet the business needs and to drive efficiency and effectiveness improvements and business value.
* Experience building and leading project teams in a matrix environment.
* Proven team leadership and management experience, with ability to recruit, engage and develop staff with advanced degrees and diverse backgrounds and in different geographic locations, ability to allocate resources based on priority and skill level, strengths, and area of expertise; ability to train and mentor junior colleagues.
* Solid understanding with a variety of analytic processes and techniques

Preferred Qualifications
Deep understanding of the healthcare administration landscapes well as the operational considerations in support of the business objectives.

Education
Bachelors Degree Required; Master's degree preferred
