Job Description:

We are seeking a Sr. Director, Cyber Business Office to lead and oversee the execution of our Securing the Arches Strategy, associated programs of work, risk reduction initiatives and operations excellence functions. These critical initiatives require strong leadership to ensure compliance with policies, standards, regulatory requirements.

As the Sr. Director, Business Office, over-delivering on our year-over-year cybersecurity commitments is crucial to maintain customer trust and loyalty and will be your top priority. You will lead both strategic and tactical elements of our cyber program delivery, risk reduction initiatives and operations excellence functions. You will partner closely with various critical team members in Global Technology, the markets, and other critical functions, among others. You will help lead the continuous improvement of the team's transformation journey through execution and process maturity.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of our cybersecurity strategy to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Implement a comprehensive cybersecurity program strategy aligned with the organization's vision, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and lead cybersecurity metrics and reporting frameworks to measure and communicate the progress of the cybersecurity program effectively.
  • Review and evaluate the effectiveness of critical program delivery controls and drive recommendations for improvement.
  • Facilitate the collaboration between cyber and partner departments (e.g., finance, legal, people, infrastructure, vendor management) to facilitate cyber strategies and their execution on behalf the cyber teams & leaders.
  • Supervise internal cyber internal finance, vendor management, and people processes to support the effective operation of the cyber organization.
  • Drive prioritized cyber program improvements that immediately reduce the risk to the McDonalds environment.
  • Be an advocate for our cybersecurity program and an ambassador to our market partners in the execution of our strategy.
  • Provide strategic guidance on complex cybersecurity issues and lead critical decision-making processes to ensure the continued execution of our strategy.
  • Foster effective communication with collaborators throughout the organization, promoting a culture of cybersecurity resilience.
  • Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing cybersecurity team capable of driving the changes required.
  • Mentor, lead, and empower, both directly and indirectly, a high-performing team of directors, senior managers/analysts, and senior professionals and set clear priorities to achieve team goals.

The expected salary range for this role is $222,650.00 to $289,440.00 / per year

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience leading a sophisticated program and communicating with Sr. Leadership.
  • Experience influencing, inspiring, and leading high-performing, diverse teams (>100) of employee and external supplier teams across multiple geographies.
  • Demonstrated history of developing and implementing effective operations excellence strategies, encompassing operating model, core processes, meetings and events, initiatives, communications, and liaison activities.
  • Strong organization effectiveness background with lean, six sigma, or agile a plus.
  • Experience interacting effectively with a diverse group of executives.
  • Demonstrable experience managing and mitigating risks, with a focus on security and compliance.
  • Bachelors degree or commensurate experience in technology transformation, systems administration, digital technology, engineering, computer science, or other related fields.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with the McDonalds business model, including intimate knowledge of our markets, market priorities, and key leaders.
  • Familiarity with sophisticated multinational companies and distributed business models
  • Demonstrates creative mechanisms to communicate to diverse audiences
  • Capability to identify gaps in technological capabilities and submit requirements to meet identified gaps.
  • Proficient in conveying information through both written and verbal means, and skilled in facilitating crucial discussions with individuals across the organization.
