Sr. Director, Service, Product & Experience Design-Kidney Care

Reporting to the VP of Commercialization, the Sr. Design Director for Kidney Care will work with Kidney Care leaders across strategy, product, technology, and data and analytics to build an integrated design function, vision, strategy and operating model for CVS Kidney Care. As part of this role, you will work with the patient experience and clinical subject matter experts to define, prioritize and oversee the design of a portfolio of products and services. You will set the direction for what good design looks like and the processes, systems and standards that will drive consistency and quality in CVS Kidney Care products and services. You will also guide the CVS Kidney Care organization on design-driven and agile ways of working that help drive a healthy culture of innovation, collaboration, and co-creation. As the Kidney Care design leader, you will be integral to accelerating our patient engagement and digital focus across all key actors in the care ecosystem (e.g., caregivers, clinical teams, nephrologists, social workers) and in doing so, will play a critical role in defining a differentiated offering that helps improve quality of life for millions of people . This is a remote position.
Responsibilities include:
* Leading the definition of the skills needed to build a design function for CVS Kidney Care
* Establishing and manage the design standards, processes, methods and outcomes for CVS Kidney Care
* Working closely with CVS Kidney Care and CVS Health executive leadership to communicate agreement between enterprise strategy with Kidney Care design vision and execution
* Setting priorities for future-facing product and service design explorations in collaboration with business, clinical patient experience and technical teams
* Participating in the portfolio management process in collaboration with businesses to evaluate and prioritize products to explore / build / test / launch
* Working with Kidney Care business leaders, product owners and enterprise IT / digital product leaders to establish operating and governance models for product and service design and launch
* Being the senior escalation point for design teams to provide design direction
* Providing senior guidance on concept definition, prototyping process / fidelity progression, and design tools / methods to leverage in executing product and service design

Required Qualifications
* 10+ years' experience working across departments to create cohesion between service / product / experience design and business strategies
* 10+ years' experience leading design teams in delivering products, services and experiences that cover both digital and human interactions
* 10+ years experience providing guidance on how hardware, software and data should achieve connected product, service and customer experiences

Preferred Qualifications
* Proficient in defining varying fidelities of MVPs and prototypes for in-market testing.
* Outstanding communication skills with audiences of all levels, especially across the product, data and tech functions
* Proven ability to build, grow and lead design teams
* Master's degree in design or related field preferred

Education
Bachelor's degree.
