The Sr. Manager, Compliance Auditing & Monitoring within the Compliance Center of Excellence (COE) will act as an individual contributor or may lead a team of compliance professionals to develop and execute a comprehensive risk-based monitoring plan that enhances enterprise value. This role has primary responsibility for leadership of the team while partnering with stakeholders to continuously evaluate and recommend opportunities to reduce risk, strengthen the control environment, and introduce operational efficiencies.

Specifically, this role will:
- Lead the development of the monitoring plan, including conducting and documenting risk topic walk-throughs with business operations. Develop and make recommendations for system or process enhancements, where observed, and identify monitoring opportunities.
- Periodically review the monitoring plan and associated business risk topics and drivers revised by Risk Governance, Internal Audit and others within the Company to assure the monitoring plan is in alignment with current risks.
- Manage resources effectively to support the delivery of monitoring plan commitments.
- Provide periodic reporting to key stakeholders regarding the monitoring plan status and key findings to drive collaboration.
- Drive strategic thinking and decision making to ensure the COE department and enterprise is proactively addressing and anticipating risks.
- Demonstrate a willingness to be a part of initiatives outside of core monitoring plan activities to become a trusted advisor and strategic leader.
- Effectively execute assigned monitoring plan activities and/or oversee the activity performed by direct reports.
- Document audit activities in accordance with department policies and best practices.
- Assess potential findings and collaborate with business partners to develop effective action plans. Follow assigned action plans through to successful completion.
- Report findings to compliance and business management.
- Meet administrative reporting requirements and supports department initiatives.
- Demonstrate a commitment to integrity and the company code of conduct, and a respect for diversity and inclusion.
- Contribute to overall Compliance and COE Department team norms to promote a positive environment and improve team effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to standardize and streamline compliance monitoring processes.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 75,400
Maximum: 162,700

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a healthcare compliance, audit, quality assurance, or risk role.
3+ Leadership experience and influencing change that resulted in positive outcomes.
3+ years designing and executing compliance audit & monitoring testing protocols.
The ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experiences within the Commercial healthcare benefits operational, compliance, or regulatory space.

Education
Bachelors degree of equivalent experience.
