The Senior Manager role is accountable for leading a team of Supply, Demand and Associate Planners which manage Seasonal, Testing & Vaccine forecasts and supply chain performance to ensure that inventory and service levels for a set of items/scripts are within specified targets, while performing Data Management, Demand and/or Supply Planning activities
* Owns team responsibility for accurate forecasts across Seasonal, Testing, and Vaccine items/scripts so that the business KPIs and objectives may be appropriately set in order to deliver Budget and Forecast targets
* Full management responsibility for Seasonal, Testing, and Vaccine inventory levels for a set of products/vendors/items/scripts to support demand while meeting inventory turn and service level targets
* Works collaboratively and own relationships with business stakeholders and vendor community to ensure that key factors which influence demand, supply, and targeted inventory levels are understood and reflected in the timeframes utilized to manage the program characteristics and ultimately achieve targets set by leadership
* Full management responsibility ensuring inventory team performs core planning functions for a subset of products/vendors/items/scripts
* Own development of Inventory planning team
Fully manage and coordinate Rx inventory planning, allocation, and replenishment efforts to achieve team and individual sales, margin, in-stock, and inventory targets across geographical considerations i.e. store, region, district and/or delivery platforms such as Business to Business, Community, Socially vulnerable, or Long-term care.

Full management responsibility ensuring delivery of consistent performance across core planning functions for a subset of products/vendors/items/scripts.

Owns the relationships and collaboration efforts with Rx Trade, Rx Ops, Planners, and Analysts on item flows, CVS Retail store replenishment and/or Distribution Center forecasts, and seasonal plans in order to ensure business objectives and decisions deliver results which meet or exceed Budget and/or Forecast

Owns the initiation of corrective action responses to influence external vendor production/cadence to meet customer demand and/or service level and KPI targets

Owns the relationship with IS, Enterprise Analytics & replenishment system stakeholders and has full management responsibility for the front-end support for Store and Distribution center Rx inventory replenishment systems.

Full management responsibility for setting day-to-day, weekly, monthly, and annual objectives whos execution of Rx replenishment strategies to the stores and DCs deliver the financial and KPI targets.

Required Qualifications
5-7 years of Retail industry experience in Merchandise planning & allocation; with strong executive leadership potential

Preferred Qualifications
* Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, PP and Excel, Pivot tables
* Inventory & Merchandise Planning, and Ladder Plan development and management experience
* Previous leadership roles within Merchandise Planning & Allocation
* Experience in developing analytical tools, templates, and financial models
* Excellent communication and analytical skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with cross functional departments and senior leadership
* Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and independently solve business problems
* Ability to extract, organize, analyze, and report data in a manner that is useful and relevant for making business decisions
* Demonstrated ability and flexibility to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
* Knowledge of SQL/Python/Oracle
* Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Management Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain or Operations Management

Bachelors Degree required
