Job Description
The Specialty Process improvement Senior Manager will lead and support process and performance improvement projects within the Specialty Pharmacy. The manager will conduct deep business process reviews of front end and back end pharmacy operations to improve efficiency, quality, customer experience, and financial performance. The senior manager will help define and implement our process improvement program from the ground up, including educating others across the organization

Responsibilities % Time
1. Execute strategic process improvement projects using lean six sigma tools and methodologies 70%
2. Educate and mentor colleagues on process improvement tools and methodologies 10%
3. Develop and present effective presentations to a diverse population of individuals across Specialty with varying responsibilities, educational backgrounds, and interests to facilitate and drive improvement 10%
4. Identify process improvement opportunities in collaboration with business partners targeting an improved customer experience, operational efficiencies, cost avoidance, and revenue and EBIT growth 10%

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 75,400
Maximum: 158,300

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
- 8 - 10 Years experience in process improvement and/or healthcare
-Expertise in process improvement tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, DMAIC, Kaizen, Process Mapping, Process Capability Analysis, Hypothesis Testing, etc)
-Experience advancing organizational process maturity through design for six sigma and/or other methodologies like CMMI
-Proven experience leading operational improvement efforts, including project management
-Ability to process and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to derive actionable solutions
-Data analysis skills, including the ability to wrangle and analyze large structured and unstructured datasets (Excel and more advanced analytical techniques)
-Demonstrated facilitation skills
-Excellent presentation and communication skills, including aptitude for writing, fact gathering, and analysis
-Ability to meet deadlines and satisfy customers with multiple conflicting priorities
-Ability to effectively interact one-on-one with all levels of management
-Prior experience leading and developing cross functional teams
-Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment to solve challenging issues and identify opportunities for improvement
-Demonstrate flexbility to support rapid adjustments

Preferred Qualifications
-Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt via a Training and Certification Program
-Experience in performance measurement and process improvement in call center, customer service, customer experience, front-end pharmacy, back-end pharmacy, transportation, and/or logistics.
-Experience in the mail and/or specialty pharmacy space, particularly front end and/or backend operations
-Minitab and/or SQL, Python, R experience

Education
Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant field (business, industrial engineering, economics, computer science, or operations research)
