Job Description
Sells Aetna benefits and services to producers or customers in the large group segment based in Colorado. Individual will cultivate strong, productive, and influential relationships with broker/consultants, customers and peers focusing on the larger or more complex accounts/prospects. Implement strategies necessary to attain sales objective in assigned areas. Manages complex negotiations, and position products, rates levels and expanded product portfolios to increase sales and maximize revenue. Manages the integration of clients and Aetnas internal organizations to meet clients installation needs and close the deal. Provides expertise in difficult renewals and collaborates with account management and underwriting for renewals on assigned book of business. Identifies various ways to partner with the client by drawing from entire spectrum of product line. Gains understanding of Aetnas full product array. Provides effective presentations to Aetna constituents.
Required Qualifications
Strong background in producer channel and direct to client selling ideally with 8+ year industry experience. Demonstrated history of successfully meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Preferred Qualifications
Applicable state Life & Health producer license.
Education
Bachelors degree desired or equivalent work experience.
