Sr Software Engineer sought by GE Healthcare IITS USA Corp. for Chicago, IL location to provide tech leadership & define, develop, & evolve software in fast paced & agile development environment. Provide technical leadership to agile team. Work w/ Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product reqts & vision. Work w/ PLLs & architects to develop multi generation software tec plans. Bach deg, or foreign deg equiv, in Comp Sci or STEM, & 5 yrs progressively responsible post-Bach deg exp in rel Software Eng position or rel occup req'd. Alternatively, Master's deg, or foreign deg equiv, in Comp Sci or STEM, & 3 yrs exp in rel Software Eng position or rel occup is acceptable. Position requires: 3 yrs exp w/ Object Oriented Analysis & Design, Software Design Patterns & Java coding principles; 3 yrs exp in server technologies, such as web services or microservices, server-side frameworks, & relational database; 3 yrs exp w/any modern tooling for software development, such as code development environments (IDEs) & automated test tools (unit tests); 1 yr exp analyzing impact of technology choices; & 3 yrs exp taking ownership of small & medium sized tasks & deliver.
