Pay Range

$19. 87 - $24. 55/hr

The Certified Sterile Processing Tech promotes improved quality and improved patient safety in the OR by ensuring the efficient flow of the Sterile Processing department. Performs routine tasks relating to the decontamination, processing, sterilization, and distribution of instruments, equipment and sterile supplies. Responsible for general operating and monitoring of sterilization equipment. Maintains records in compliance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission and OSHA standards. Maintains Certification, and monitors, instructs and mentors non-certified. Facilitates awareness and understanding around what is at stake withpatients in the OR. Facilitates the department's preparation of staff to pass survey/regulatory assessments.

Qualified individuals will receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus to be paid in installments. Individuals must at least one year of direct experience to be eligible for the sign-on bonus. This sign-on bonus does not apply to internal transfers.

Qualified external applicants may be eligible for a relocation bonus.

What You Bring/Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• 6 months of sterile processing experience, preferred
• Computer skills required
• High School Diploma/GED
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required upon hire

Physical Requirement: Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
