Allied Universal has security jobs and are seeking to fill the position of Storekeeper. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent for non-driving and 21 years of age for driving positions
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
• Valid guard card/license, as required in the state for which you are applying.

Job Description

Provides day to day ownership of all parts picked for work orders, issued to end users, and returned to stock in accordance to standards and policies. May include managing and coordinating outgoing shipments.

Customers

Mill Operations, Reliability Resources, Engineering, Mill Stores, Purchasing, Finance, Corporate Stores and Corporate Purchasing

Education/Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Thorough understanding of inventory, storage practices, and spare parts
• Ability to lift or move packages up to 50 pounds
• Prolong standing, walking and bending.

• Strong customer relations skills and enthusiasm for Think Customer
• Strong verbal communication and decision-making skills
• Strong organizational skill
• Attention to detail and strong time management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast pace environment
• Proficient with computer systems/programs (e.g. email, Word, Excel, SAP)

Accountabilities/Expectations

• Issuing parts to work orders
• Pick materials for work orders
• Kit/Stage materials for work orders
• Put away materials once received into SAP
• Management of material transfers in warehouse
• Inventory adjustments - LOST/FOUND
• Management of interim bins in the SAP system
• Management of write-offs, obsolete parts, and scrapping
• Maintain working relationship with Reliability, Operations, and Maintenance
• Cycle counts of inventory cabinets and stock locations
• Maintain and require supplies for the storeroom
• Keep all bins, aisles and storage areas clean and clearly labeled

May include Shipping Clerk accountabilities:

• Management of out-going materials shipments (refurbishments, etc.)
• Experience or training in appropriate packaging for transit
• Coordination with corporate transportation
