Job Summary: As a Strategic Initiatives Analyst, you will play an integral part in Prioritys investment and strategy team based in NY. You will be a key player in the investment process, assisting in all financial analysis and recommendations as well as evaluation of key internal strategies. The analyst will be responsible for in-depth diligence, cash flow modeling, and driving internal recommendations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare cash flow models and performance analysis to support corporate growth opportunities.
Perform ad hoc analyses for operations, finance, and C-Suite as needed.
Conduct financial analysis and modeling for mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic corporate initiatives.
Assist in due diligence, negotiations, and other project materials.
Efficiently articulate/present investment ideas, analysis and transaction recommendations.
Conduct industry and company research, and prepare market analysis reports.
Collaborate with other business teams to develop and execute financial solutions for clients.
Collaborate with external counterparties to drive project execution.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and external counterparties.
Continue to develop a strong skill set in data analysis, modeling and financial analysis
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related fields.
1 year of experience in banking or related fields.
Strong analytical skills with experience in investment modeling.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the ability to build financial models from scratch.
Base knowledge, or willingness to learn basic SQL and VBA.
Self-starter with strong analytical skills including the ability to interpret data, question the results, generate insights and construct solutions.
Excellent critical thinking skills, high organizational ability, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
Excellent communication skills, both in written and verbal form, and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation range: $75,000 - $85,000
