The Advisor role within Strategic Operations and Planning team will provide oversight for a portfolio of projects and initiatives. The Strategic Operations and Program Advisor is responsible for driving the ongoing development of digital products, initiatives, and applicable down-stream applications to ensure the project meets the needs of the business and conforms to established methodologies.
You will work closely with various business partners across the organization to understand business needs, define scope, develop, and implement the solution. , These tasks will require strong project management and process improvement skills, and the ability to collaborate with expansive network of business partners from across the Specialty Operations and Digital teams.
The successful candidate will:
* Demonstrate the ability to be a change agent and build relationships across boundaries; demonstrate strong problem analysis skills and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement within defined processes and systems.
* Be self-motivated, able to work independently, and possess a strong technical aptitude. Although the role does not have direct reports, a successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to lead informally and cross-functionally.
* Develop deep understanding of Specialty operations workflow and digital tools and functionalities
* Provide Subject matter expertise and clearly communicate business requirements to product development teams and IT partners
* Able to quickly prioritize and reprioritize tasks to meet challenging deadlines and managing multiple, competing demands.
* Create business case and presentations for product enhancement and new product opportunities; be able to communicate outcomes and recommendations to influence at all levels of organization.
* Engage with cross-functional teams like digital, IT, operations, legal, marketing to design solutions, develop test and implementation plans, drive results, and resolve issues.
* Understand issues faced by our patients and work with various teams to address those issues quickly and with compelling solutions.
* Possess a strong working knowledge of office software. And, as this role interfaces routinely with senior leaders, strong communication and presentation skills are necessary.
This is a work from home opportunity with some travel.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
Previous experience in Pharmacy operations, Healthcare and/or with digital products
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Must be able to travel up to 20% after COVID restrictions.
Preferred Qualifications
* 8+ years of related work experience.
* Working knowledge of Specialty Pharmacy applications or a background in contact centers, project management, IT system solutions, or other business operations will be considered.
* Familiarity and demonstrable application of the software development life cycle, or agile methodologies.
* * Ability to evaluate, forecast, and achieve financial targets exhibited by past project portfolios.
Experience developing PowerPoint presentations.
Education
* Bachelors Degree is required
* BA/BS degree in a business, finance, or IT/IS field desired
* MA/MS degree is preferred
