Our clients have an urgent need for Outpatient Substance Abuse Counselors/Therapists to provide critical support services in an outpatient substance abuse use program in the Pittsburgh location. Ability to provide assessments, Develop treatment plans, conduct individual, group and family therapy and maintain all required documentation.
HOURLY COMPENSATION RATE & AVAILABLE HOURS
* Negotiable compensation depending on Contractor's qualifications, availability, and skills.
* Daylight hours - Monday-Friday OR part-time- 4p-8p Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays.
* Some assignments ongoing and client temp-to-perm negotiable!
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide compassion and emotional support to residents with Mental Health and/or IDD, ensuring all activities are designed and implemented with a goal of individual growth.
*Assist residents with tasks they are unable to perform for themselves such as: meal preparation, cooking, bathing, dressing and light housekeeping, monitoring and redirecting residents, as needed.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Chemical Dependency, etc.). Master's degree is preferred.
* Recent experience in addiction or substance abuse counselling.
* Licensed clinician (LPC, LMFT, LCSW)or a valid PCB Certification in a counseling discipline (CAC, CADC, etc.) a plus or ability to obtain within one year is also a plus.
* Current Physical/TB screening
* A current FBI, Child Abuse Background Check and PA State Criminal Background Check

**Must be reliable & dependable with both the care you provide as well as attendance.
