- Supervise CTE Staff on the Tucson Campus
- Provide services to campus students attending on- and off-campus CTE programming
- Provide guidance for CTE instructors
- Collaborate with campus-assigned VR counselors
- Collaborate with campus-specific support staff (Educational Interpreters, Transportation)
- Collect and summarize data for analysis
- Other duties as assigned
- Attend IEP meeting if necessary
- Assess and identify training needs
- Bachelors Degree in Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, Visual Impairment or Hearing Impairment with coursework in vocational education
- Three years teaching/working experience with sensory impaired students
- Masters Degree in Vocational Education or Special Education
- Three years teaching/working experience with sensory impaired students
- Two years supervisory or administrative experience
- Immediate expressive and receptive sign language skills
- Certified in vocational education for sensory impaired students
- Skill in behavior management techniques
- Skill in effective communication, facilitating group decision making
- Fluent in ASL
- Skill in planning and organizational skills
- Skill in interfacing with community members
- Skill in use of technology for all forms of communication

To provide instructional leadership under the direction of the CTE Director, for a team of transitional specialists, site trainers, and staff responsible for the career and technical education of students who are: deaf; hard of hearing; blind; visually impaired. Observation and evaluation of CTE staff performance to assist staff with the effectiveness in producing career and technical education services by coaching in transitional planning, methodologies, and career development.
