Supervisor - Admissions Dept

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Supervise and facilitate intake, admissions and utilization review process for incoming patients.
• Plan, assign, supervise and evaluate activities performed by members of the admissions team.
• Develop, implement and monitor improvement initiatives to enhance/streamline current processes and procedures.
• Supervise the training of all new admissions specialists.
• Implement new patient access systems and processes for the facility.
• Train all direct and indirect staff engaged in daily patient access functions

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree required with a concentration in Human Services Field preferred.
• Two plus years experience in healthcare admissions role
• One year previous supervisory experience.
