Supervises workflow in areas of warehouse, inventory and purchasing activities. These activities include, but not limited to: receiving,replenishment, put away, stock rotation, inventory transfers, cycle counts, slotting, purchasing, vendor returns, and physical inventory. Monitors and maintains quality of service within areas of responsibilities. Develop, trains, prioritizes/sets direction, monitor, and addresses issues as appropriate
to ensure efficient flow of work and achievement of individual and team objectives with regards to production and quality. Identifies ways to improve
workflow and productivity.
* Works alongside team members as needed and when requested
* Interpersonal, conflict management, and negotiation skills are also required, as well as strong human relations skills to supervise and develop
* Interpersonal, conflict management, and negotiation skills are also required, as well as strong human relations skills to supervise and develop assigned employees effectively.
* Must be flexible, dependable and able to adapt to change.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze workflow/processes in order to provide excellent service to internal and external customers
* Ability to build strong business relationships with other functional areas to best support mutual objectives
Shift:
M-F 2:00pm - 10:30pm
Required Qualifications
* Knowledge of inventory and warehouse methods and procedures
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Access and previous experience as end user with ERP/WM
system (SAP)
* Must be able to work overtime or extended hours as necessary, as well as the ability and willingness to perform all of the duties supervised
* Pharmacy Technician License
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of pharmacy terminology is desired
* Knowledge of SAP
* Certification (APICS) and/or additional training relevant to Materials Management is preferred
Education
* Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required. College degree and/or coursework desired, particularly in a related field of study (business or materials discipline). Certification (APICS) and/or additional training relevant to Materials Management is preferred.
