Program Directors are responsible for supervising the operation of several group homes that provide services for adults with special needs. Beyond the administrative work completed at the office, this job involves being actively involved with our managers and staff on site. Program Directors have administrative responsibilities including staff interviewing and hiring, program fund auditing, quality control, and documentation management. Additionally, Program Directors carry a cell phone to respond to emergencies outside of office hours, and work online as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the operation of several group homes that provide services for adults with special needs
  • Supervise the Program Managers and provide the oversight necessary to ensure that needs are being met and that the operation of the programs meets our high standards of quality.
  • Be organized and efficient, know how to use teamwork, and make decisions confidently.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent
  • Must have some experience working with individuals with disabilities and supervisory experience
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have the ability to successfully pass background check with Arizona Central Registry, Arizona Adult Protective Services and obtain Level One Fingerprint Clearance
  • Current Arizona driver license
  • Must qualify as driver for AIRES insurance
  • Must pass AIRES training, and obtain and keep a level one fingerprint clearance card
  • Must have basic computer skills such data entry, word processing, and spreadsheets
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to establish rapport with staff members and the individuals we support.

  • An ability to teach, guide, model, and coach others.
