The primary responsibility of the Benefits Verification Supervisor is to supervise staff in the Benefits Verification Department, and to provide direction to the staff within Pharmacy operations to ensure to ensure patient benefits are verified in accordance to the company guidelines and that patient expectations are met to achieve exceptional customer service and business profitability.
In order to be successful in this role youll analyze call/performance statistics and daily workflow to ensure that all production and quality goals are met, coordinate procedural changes, resolve issues/problems as it relates to the department and the company. In regards to the team youll be supervising, you will evaluate and review their progress, coach, motivate & counsel staff including administering disciplinary action when necessary. To support the management team youll be involved in interviewing and hiring, directing and implementing department and pharmacy wide projects. You should use your previous supervisory, organizational and production environment skills to be successful in this position.

Required Qualifications
1+ years of supervisory experience in a related environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialty pharmacy experience.
- Bachelor's Degree within Business, Management or Healthcare related field.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
