Supplier Quality Engineer

Supplier Quality Engineer at CNH Industrial America LLC in Oak Brook, IL will handle relationships w/ key suppliers to ensure CNH qlty stds are met. Up to 50% domestic & int'l travel. Telecommuting permitted 2 days/wk. Salary $123,635 - $144,375/yr. Reqs a Bachelor's deg in Mechanical Engg, Industrial Engg or a directly rltd field + 6 yrs of exp as a product engineer, mechanical engineer, or rltd occupation in mfg, qlty control, or dsgn of hydraulics components. The 6 yrs of exp must incl 3 yrs of exp w/ each of the following: (1) dsgng mechanical systems & components, incl castings, fabrications, machined parts, sheet metal, plastics, assemblies, & hydraulic systems; (2) dsgng components or systems for off-highway, agricultural, construction, or industrial eqpmt in compliance w/ performance reqmts, stds, & regs; (3) dsgng, dvlpg, & integrating hydraulic & mechanical systems, incl fluid power components, hoses, tubes, plumbing layouts, system-level dsgn validation, & verification activities; (4) APQP, PPAP, FMEA, DVP&R, control plans, & DFMA; (5) 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, DOE, & RCCA to address dsgn, process, supplier, or field qlty issues; (6) collaborating w/ suppliers, sourcing, mfg, & qlty teams on dsgn review, supplier dvlpmt, cost-reduction initiatives, milestone tracking, & risk mitigation; & (7) project mgmt methodologies, incl Six Sigma or equiv.
