Supply Chain Intern

Junior and Senior level undergraduates and Masters students are eligible for consideration for our Tampa 2024 internship program. Students are required to be available for the entirety of the program with the orientation date of May 20th and the end date of August 9th. Weekly hours differ per role and all candidates must be local to Tampa throughout the 12-week internship.

POSITION SUMMARY

Bloomin' Brands, is seeking an intern who is currently pursuing a career in Supply Chain. This opportunity will allow a student to apply their education to practical business issues as they assist with supply chain efforts.

PRIMARY PROJECTS / TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute as a full member of the Supply Chain team gaining hands-on work experience that takes classroom learning to practical application
• Work on high impact projects that are current issues facing the business and have an opportunity to see actual results implemented in our restaurants
• Help document and improve supply chain processes
• Focus in Logistics
• Reporting/Analytics

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter who is able to take initiative on projects to move them forward
• Must be analytical and able to gather insights and develop recommendations
• Collaborative and able to work with a cross-functional team
• Organized and able to handle multiple projects and timelines to successful completion
• Must be pursuing a college degree with a supply chain, industrial engineering or business concentration
• Experience in excel and other analytical tools
