Job SummaryThe Supply Chain Specialist operates under the supervision of the Supply Chain Manager and/or Supply Chain SupervisorPerioperative Services: a member of the Perioperative Services department's SCM team. This position is responsible for theoverall management of inventory in assigned unit(s) as it relates to supply replenishment, maximization of quality,minimization of costs and support of department goals within system supply chain objectives. Responsible for having aworking knowledge of the product lines under the purview of the Perioperative Services department. Supports departmentto ensure existing inventory and associated expenses are within budgeted targets. Responsible for ensuring consumablesupplies are accurately controlled to reduce obsolescence, outdates and waste within the assigned unit(s); this isaccomplished through the maintenance of appropriate inventory levels based on PAR Optimization utilization calculations,product rotation; outdate management and ongoing communications with both the customer and Supply ChainManagement team. Responsible for all replenishment orders, managing returns, recalls and product conversions withinareas of assigned responsibility to include, proper supply levels, labeling and changes in Lawson. Coordinates and performsscheduled physical inventories of assigned areas within the Perioperative Services department and works with the SupplyChain Management team and Perioperative Services department management to analyze outcomes and adjust inventorylevels as appropriate. Print preference cards for schedule cases. Pull supplies and instrumentation for all surgical cases.

Pay Range

$16. 42 - $23.33/hr

Minimum Experience Requirements2 years hospital Supply Chain Management experience required. Knowledge of medical terminologypreferred. Microsoft Excel and Word. Lawson ERP experience is preferred.
